In Maurice Sendak news, the adaptation of his magical book Where the Wild Things Are is taking shape, with Catherine Keener as Max's mom in the first live-action casting decision. Voices will feature Benicio del Toro and Michelle Williams, among others.Sendak is also at work with Matthew Reinhart to create a new book inspired by monsters from the 1930s (and Sendak's play It's Alive) titled Mommy?
